There Was a Cat
Long ago there was a cat,
Who swallowed a ball of yarn;
And when the cat had kittens,
They all had sweaters on.
Cute!

This meme was sourced from an RSS feed of the X.com (formerly Twitter) account @WholesomeMeme, which shares lighthearted, feel-good content. The core content is an original child's poem and drawing, which went viral for its charming, silly, heartwarming premise that plays on the idea of yarn being used to make sweaters, leading to the kittens being born wearing them after the mother cat ate yarn.
