Family secrets though
Text content
Folks who don’t give you a recipe bc "it's a family secret" are very odd. First of all it's not like your family is living off these cinamon rolls and secondly you've told me you cheat on your wife before so like is it fucking clove or not
Overview
This is a screenshot of a sarcastic tweet mocking people who refuse to share cooking recipes under the excuse that they are 'family secrets'. The tweet points out two absurdities: first, the family does not make a living selling the cinnamon rolls the recipe is for, so there is no financial harm in sharing it. Second, the same person who guards the recipe as a secret has previously admitted to cheating on their wife, making the decision to hide such a trivial detail (like whether the recipe contains clove) seem ridiculous and disproportionate, given their willingness to disclose a far more serious moral transgression.
