Text content
came to the realization that my entire childhood I felt like an "adult" in a kid's place. I constantly heard "you have an old soul" "you're so mature & smart for your age". but over time it reversed. now I'm 25 & I've never felt more like a child trapped in an adult body.
Overview
This is a screenshot of a public post from the X (formerly Twitter) platform. The poster shares a widely relatable personal realization: during their entire childhood, they felt like an adult stuck in a child's body, and consistently received comments that they had an 'old soul' and were unusually mature and smart for their age. As they reached 25 years old, this experience reversed, and they now feel like a child trapped in an adult's body. The poster's display name also includes the Russian phrase 'НЕТ ВОЙНЕ' (meaning 'No to war') next to a blue butterfly emoji.
