Accidentally said 'love you' to a work client and got a wholesome response

This image is a collage screenshot combining a Reddit post and a follow-up work email. The top section shows a post from Reddit user ButterscotchButtons on the r/MadeMeSmile subreddit, where they share that they accidentally said "Love you!" while ending a call with an important client, and were very embarrassed after hearing the client giggle before they hung up. The lower section is a screenshot of the email the user later received from that same client: the client clarifies they were not mocking the user, have made the same awkward mistake themselves, thinks it is nice that the affectionate phrase comes so naturally to the user, then proceeds to confirm a previously discussed follow-up call scheduled for Wednesday. The content tells the story of a relatable awkward workplace mishap that resolves in a warm, positive way.

Hey, Just wanted to say that I didn't mean to laugh at you when you accidentally signed off on our call with a "love you." I just found it funny because I've definitely done that before, and I know it happens. I'm glad you have enough love in your life that that response comes naturally. If anything, you should be proud of that :) Have a great weekend! We'll follow up about my call with Chris on Wednesday, as discussed.
