Dad Asks For Resent 'I Love You' Voicemail After Accidental Deletion
Text from my Dad from a few years ago. I did call and leave him another message, after I stopped crying. ❤️ (Editing to add his photo, because he's as precious as he sounds)
Text content
Natalie,
I have kept a voicemail from you for over two years. All you did was to call me to tell me you loved me. I usually listen to it about 20 times a week. This morning, while listening to it I received a phone call and accidentally deleted your voicemail. I am heartbroken and want it back on my phone. Please call me and leave me another "I just wanted to say I love you" message.
Overview
This is a viral wholesome social media post from a woman named Natalie, showing a text message she received years ago from her father, paired with a photo of him. Natalie opens the post explaining she cried after receiving this text, then called her father to leave the new voicemail he asked for, and added the photo of her dad because he is just as sweet and precious as the text makes him sound. In the text message, Natalie's father shares that he saved a simple voicemail from Natalie where she only called to say she loved him for over two years, listened to it about 20 times every week, then accidentally deleted it while listening, and says he is heartbroken and asks her to call and leave the same 'I just wanted to say I love you' message again. The photo shows the elderly father napping comfortably while cuddling his pet dog.
